set of country-specific substantive environmental provisions,
typically technical limitations on effluent, discharges, etc.,
or a specific management practice. They try to integrate Host
Nation laws into Army guidances.

On 6 June 1986 the Federal Ministry for the
Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety was established.
German Environmental laws provide scientific and technical
support for legal and administrative regulations in the fields
of air quality control, noise abatement, waste management,
water resources management, soilconservation, environmental
chemicals, and health-related environmental issues. The main
