ARMY FAMILY TEAM BUILDING (AFTB)

AFTB is a series of training modules available to Soldiers, Family members, Department of Defense Civilians and volunteers. These modules teach individuals about basic information about the Army, personal growth skills and leadership skills. AFTB improves personal and Family preparedness which enhances overall Army readiness and helps America's Army adapt to a changing world. AFTB helps you to not just cope with, but enjoy the military lifestyle. Many of the courses can be applied toward resume and career building, self-development and leadership skills. AFTB provides the knowledge and self-confidence to take responsibility for yourself and your Family.

Strong Families are the pillar of support behind strong Soldiers. It is the AFTB’s mission to educate and train all of the Army in knowledge, skills and behaviors designed to prepare our Army Families to move successfully into the future.

AFTB is composed by three levels:

LEVEL I - This level focuses on the basic skills and knowledge needed to live in the fast paced military life. Level I is targeted to our new Spouses, Families and Soldiers. Level I is also a great refresher for those who have been in the system for some time.

LEVEL II - This level teaches students how to grow in the community and become a leader, especially in a military community.

LEVEL III - This level will give you the tools to inspire and mentor others into leadership positions. Level III is a great opportunity for Soldiers newly promoted to NCOs.

Active duty Soldiers can earn promotion points for participating in the trainings.
Daytime classes offer FREE childcare
