Information Channel (CIC) for information on bad winter
weather conditions (heavy snow, icy roads), school or
work schedule delays or cancellations. This is for your
own security and safety to reduce traffic accidents. |

GREEN |
| Ideal road, visibility, and temperature conditions exist.
Drivers will observe normal precautions and speed limits.

AMBER |
| Ideal road, temperature, and visibility conditions do
not exist. Increased driving times and hazardous road conditions
will be considered in developing vehicle dispatch policy
under amber conditions. |
| |
RED |
| Road, temperature, and visibility conditions have degraded
further. Only emergency mission vehicle dispatches are authorized.
The dispatch record for emergency vehicles (police, fire,
ambulance, emergency engineer) will be marked “emergency
essential.” Chiefs of appropriate offices (provost
marshal, fire, medical activity, and directorate of engineering
and housing) will authorize dispatch of emergency vehicles.

BLACK |

ambulance, emergency engineer) will be marked “emergency-essential.”
Brigade and ASG level commanders will authorize dispatch
of emergency vehicles. |
