Patriot Express
Starting 7 Feb 12, all Soldiers and Family members will be required to use Patriot Express as their mode of travel for PCS to/from Germany. The Patriot Express is a DoD Chartered flight between Ramstein Air Base and Baltimore MD that Soldiers and their Families are scheduled for through SATO.
Free bus transportation from Grafenwoehr, Vilseck, and Hohenfels to Ramstein Air Base... will be available for Patriot Express travelers who are booked on Tuesday flights. Passengers can obtain the bus schedule from the Central Processing Facility in Vilseck, or by emailing a request to usarmy.grafenwoehr.imcom.list.dl-imcom-e-grafenwoehr-v2@mail.mil . Passengers need to arrive NLT 30 minutes prior to the scheduled bus departure time. Pet crates will be placed in the luggage storage area of the bus. Soldiers and family members who do not use the bus or who miss the bus will be responsible for securing their own mode of transportation and applicable costs to Ramstein AB.
